Open DAS integration for large-scale indoor coverage.
Complex buildings often have basements, corridors, thick walls, equipment rooms and high-density public areas, making indoor coverage difficult. Traditional indoor systems can be less flexible when future network upgrades or multi-vendor integration are required.
PROSE ORAN Indoor DAS connects Open RAN signal sources with a DAS headend and RF distribution system. This allows cellular signals to be distributed through indoor antennas while keeping the architecture more open and future-ready.
The benefit is a smoother path to modernize indoor networks. Customers can retain the wide coverage advantage of DAS, improve flexibility through Open RAN architecture, and support scalable indoor coverage for complex building environments.
ORAN Indoor DAS combines the openness of Open RAN with the proven indoor distribution capability of DAS. It is designed for large buildings, campuses, hospitals, transport hubs and venues where mobile signals need to be distributed across multiple indoor zones.
With nearly 100 DAS deployment references worldwide, PROSE brings practical engineering experience in indoor coverage design, RF distribution and complex-building implementation.

DBU provides a more energy-efficient and simplified approach for indoor DAS integration.
Instead of using a traditional high-power RU output and then attenuating the signal before feeding it into the indoor DAS, the DBU generates a low-power signal that is more suitable for indoor distribution from the beginning.
